The structure that is present in yeast cells but absent in cyanobacteria is mitochondria.

Yeast cells are eukaryotic and contain membrane-bound organelles, including mitochondria, which are responsible for energy production through cellular respiration. Cyanobacteria, on the other hand, are prokaryotic and lack membrane-bound organelles, including mitochondria. Instead, they generate energy in their cytoplasm.
