This is an example of intraspecific competition.

Intraspecific competition occurs when individuals of the same species compete for limited resources, such as food, shelter, or territory. In this case, the two bears are competing for a cave in which to hibernate, which makes it a clear example of intraspecific competition, as both bears are of the same species.
